I have a unique strategy when it comes to supporting my clients on their health journey (and aren't we all on this same journey?) I've worked with thousands of people with multiple health concerns, including digestive issues, blood sugar dysregulation, hormone imbalances, autoimmune conditions, and others. Many of my clients have been with me for 10+ years - they simply trust my guidance.
My path to wellness is a story of "healer, heal thyself". While I've been a functional nutritionist for 24 years, I wasn't always healthy. As a result of eating the standard American diet, I was an overweight child and had digestive issues all the way through my 30s. I then discovered I had Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease. Through the skills I've learned and developed, I am now in complete remission and have been able to achieve the same results with many clients as well. It is the most gratifying work I know.
I live in Washington state, where in my off hours I hike and bike. I love to travel, spend time with my grandbabies, and volunteer with hospice, an organization near and dear to my heart.
In 2013, I developed a functional nutrition training program
(www.restorativewellnesssolutions.com) where I’ve taught my methodology to hundreds of other practitioners. My current focus is working with clients individually and in group settings so they can truly live their best life.
